Application Details:
Application Method:
- Brush, Airless spray.
Thinner:
- DM Water 5 %. only if required for better brushing.
Surface Preparation:
- Remove oil, grease and any other impurity. Make the surface dirt free. Remove any previous paint or loose coating from
the surface. Remove any fungus or algae.
New concrete / plaster should be allowed to cure completely for 28-30 days before application of Primer. Suitable measures should be taken in case of water seepage/ leakage problems. Holes, Dents and cracks should be filled properly and allowed to cure completely before application of primer. Make sure that the wood and concrete surface is treated to ensure good and permanent adhesion of the paint.
SPainting System:
- One-two thick coat of WB Proton Paints Fire Retardant Primer followed by minimum two finishing thick coats of paint. Two coats of primer are recommended for porous surface followed by minimum two finishing coats of paint. More and thicker coats will provide more protection against fire and reduces the spread of fire. WB Fire Retardant Clear to be applied as top coat for better wash ability.
