USES :
  • Useful as protective coating on concrete and brick foundations, retaining walls, timber, metals, etc.
  • Provides a sandwich membrane in new construction and surface treatment on existing slabs.
  • Damp proofing of regular surfaces like concrete and asbestos. Provides a key for plaster on difficult surfaces.
  • For waterproofing and protection of structure, concrete, columns and beams.

SURFACE PREPERATION:Concrete must be clean and rough. All oil, dirt, debris, paint and unsound concrete must be removed. Surface may be damp but not saturated. Apply 1 coat of WELM diluting 1kg WELM with 2 liter of water on well prepared surface. It is recommended that 1-2 coats should be applied depending upon the degree of protection required after the primer coat.

SAFETY: WELM is safe, non toxic, eco-friendly and presents no health hazards. As with all chemicals caution should always be exercised. Protective clothing such as gloves and goggles etc. to be worn
  • EYE CONTACT: Flush eyes with clean water for ten minutes and seek medical advice.
  • INGESTION: If accidentally swallowed do not induce. Causes nausea, vomiting and loss of consciousness.
  • INHALATION: Inhalation of vapour or mist should be avoided. Symptoms include coughing, wheezing, laryngitis, headache, nausea, vomiting and shortness of breath. Immediately shift victim to fresh air, and if needed start artificial respiration. Give oxygen if breathing is labored.
  • SKIN CONTACT: Flush with water or soap and water until all traces have been removed. Seek medical attention if required.

METHOD OF APPLICATION:After the primer coat is completely dried apply two coats of WELM It is recommended to apply the second coat after the first coat is totally cured. For better results use GLASS FIBRE MESH/ CLOTH embedded in between the two coats, when the first coat is still wet. WELM could be diluted up to 20-25% for 1st coat and 15-20% for 2nd the material workable and get desired coverage. All brushes and tools should be cleaned by water immediately after use.
