Epoxy Zinc Rich Primer

Product Description This is two pack epoxy primer for metal & concrete surface based on Zinc dust as main pigment. It has excellent anticorrosive properties.

Recommended Uses Ideally suitable for use on Mild Steel & concrete surface for new and old surfaces. It is a very good prefabrication / pre-erection primer.

Direction for Use :Surface Preparation
  • Surfaces must be dry, clean and free from contaminants
  • ensure removal of dirt, dust, oil and all other contaminants that could interfere with adhesion of the coating. oil and grease should be removed. .
Mixing
  • Zinc Rich Primer is supplied in one pack. if settling is observed in the Primer, loosen the settled material with the help of hand stirrer followed by power driven stirrer (at lower rpm) for quick homogenous mixing.
  • Thinner should be added after mixing the components and post the induction time. addition of excessive thinner will lead to reduced sag resistance.

STORAGE & SHELF LIFE Zinc Rich Primer is supplied shall be stored in a cool and dry place away from sunlight, moisture and high humidity and have a shelf life of 12 Months in the original packing.

HEALTH & SAFETY: Zinc Rich Primer contains organic resins, hardener and other filler materials which may cause sensitization by skin contact. Avoid contact with skin and eyes and inhalation of vapour. In case of contact, wash liberally with water and seek medical advice, if required. Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and goggles while handling.
