Product description: Bitumen Primer is a solvent based, unfilled bitumen-based primer, bonding agent and waterproofing layer. In comparison to many other solvent based bitumen primer, it also Has anticorrosive Properties.

Application areas:

Surface Preparation:
  • The surface must be dry or light humid, sound, absorbent and clean. Bonding inhibiting agents such as grease, oil, formwork oil and all loose particles and dust must be removed before application of PT Bitumen Primer. Damaged area like cracks, holes or cavities have to be reprofiled with Bituminous Sealing Compound. Cavities or surface damages >5mm have to be reprofiled with Bituminous Sealing Compound. Cracks have to be treated or waterproofed separately by using Bituminous Sealing Compound.
Material:
  • Bitumen Primer has to be stirred up before usage. The application can be done crosswise in one step by brush or by roller.

  • Gloves, safety glasses, brush, roller.
